It’s so pretty, oh so pretty!

Ed Hardy - Love Kills SlowlyI am one of those people who couldn’t care less about designer clothes. Paying a lot of money just because clothes are of a certain brand or from a certain designer is a waste of money in my opinion. If I happen to like something, I would see if I could get a knock off somewhere for the simple fact that I don’t want to fork out a lot of money just for the name or brand. Call me a cheap skate, I don’t care!!!

There is a reason why I shop at vintage shops and that reason is that at the end of my money I still have a lot of month left. I wish it was different, I wish I could go into any shop and just pick something off the rack without looking at the price tag first. But it isn’t and I learned to deal with that.

But then I discovered Ed Hardy and oh boy… It is pretty, oh so pretty! No, I don’t care about the brand or the designer, but I love, love, love the vintage tattoo style clothing. The only thing I don’t like about Ed Hardy is the prize tag. $100+ for just a t-shirt is a bit over the top I think. So I’ve been doing some thinking. One of our best friends is a tattoo artist and he’s given us many of his art work for free (yes, he’s a real good friend). Maybe we could get some of his art work printed on clothing with his permission. That would be so pretty and oh so cheap compared to Ed Hardy clothing.

Holiday buzz

They don’t say “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” for nothing. Sin City is buzzing for 24 hours a day and seven days of the week. Las Vegas caters for a lot of excitement, so if you are after a relaxing, boring holiday you need to go somewhere else. There are so many things to do in Las Vegas; you never have to have a dull moment there. Playing poker in tournaments, gambling, going to shows and performances of the stars, eating out in the best restaurants, walking over the strip, staying in beautiful hotels, shopping, great parties, etc. Who doesn’t want to go to Sin City? Las Vegas is certainly my dream vacation.

In the future I would like to tour through other places in the United States of America. Places like New York and  Los Angeles have always attracted me like a big magnet. I would love to go on New York City tours. But…  I’m not only a big city girl. Alaska is scoring high on my to-visit list as well. Yesterday I saw a show on TV and it looks so peaceful there.

If you are looking for online travel guides you might want to check out Trusted Tours & Attractions. Trusted Tours and Attractions offers tours through 23 cities through America and the prizes are well worth it. If you are planning on going on holiday to America, you might want to sign up with their newsletter. A-hole of the year: Hulk Hogan

Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) I did not see big cry-baby Hulk Hogan on the Larry King show. But, by now  you can find heaps of video’s of the show on YouTube. Hulk Hogan was a cry baby because the poor man is so upset that his son Nick is in jail. Nick got behind the wheel of his sports car with alcohol in his system, did some drag racing and caused an accident that left his friend as a vegetable. Very sad story.

But the Hulk is not crying about what his son has done to his friend and family. No… the Hulk is crying because his son has become the victim of his fame. He’s crying because they used his son to set an example and send him to jail. As far as the family of the real victim here, he’s not crying that much at all. No, it was God’s will that the poor boy is a vegetable so he can better his life. How does being a vegetable change any body’s life for the better? And to suggest that his family is only after his money is ridiculous. No money in the world could compensate for what his son has done to them. Do they have any idea how much the medical bills will be?

I think it’s time for the Hogan family to own up to their responsibilities. Hulk needs to shut up about the whole incident, he’s just rubbing extra salt in wounds instead of doing damage control. Nick is only interested in making millions of the whole situation. It’s a disgrace!!! Hulk Hogan has earned the A-Hole of the year award in my eyes.
