I am one of those people who couldn’t care less about designer clothes. Paying a lot of money just because clothes are of a certain brand or from a certain designer is a waste of money in my opinion. If I happen to like something, I would see if I could get a knock off somewhere for the simple fact that I don’t want to fork out a lot of money just for the name or brand. Call me a cheap skate, I don’t care!!!
There is a reason why I shop at vintage shops and that reason is that at the end of my money I still have a lot of month left. I wish it was different, I wish I could go into any shop and just pick something off the rack without looking at the price tag first. But it isn’t and I learned to deal with that.
But then I discovered Ed Hardy and oh boy… It is pretty, oh so pretty! No, I don’t care about the brand or the designer, but I love, love, love the vintage tattoo style clothing. The only thing I don’t like about Ed Hardy is the prize tag. $100+ for just a t-shirt is a bit over the top I think. So I’ve been doing some thinking. One of our best friends is a tattoo artist and he’s given us many of his art work for free (yes, he’s a real good friend). Maybe we could get some of his art work printed on clothing with his permission. That would be so pretty and oh so cheap compared to Ed Hardy clothing.
