One of the worst television shows ever has returned to Australian TV. Big Brother must be the biggest waste of air time in the history of television. I have to admit that I have watched the show out of curiosity… once! Please somebody tell me what is exciting about a bunch of people locked up in one house and sitting around doing nothing all day? And worst of all is that all these people have an ego as big as the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
If you enjoy looking at a bunch of people sitting around, gossiping about each other you seriously need to get a life. Am I going to watch Big Brother this year? I don’t think so!

I usually watch Big Brother, but the past winter season here in the United States was just not good. I got mad and quit watching after they advertised they’d be voting someone else back in, and then…in the end…they ended up voting the person they had JUST voted out . .. back in! Blah.

Perfectly true.
We have our own version in this part of the world and I remain wondering why so many of our local TV audiences prefer to watch such inane and voyeuristically pre-disposed program such as this. Yes, I ask the same questions you ask.
I am not trying to condescend, but really, what seems to be the matter with our sense of values?
Cheers!

I not only watch it, I post it online so that others from different countries can follow it also - argh kill me now, I bet you hate me, haha
Some people, just like to watch people. It’s not like they sit around all day like zombies, there are twists and turns and drama - it’s just like watching a soap opera, or drama or any other sort of show, the only difference is that it’s real people with real reactions *shrugs*
Never understood why people have an issue with it really, seems like most who do just like to think they are a bit ‘above’ it - but most (like you) have never actually watched more than a few minutes of it.
Different strokes for different folks and all that
