Our neighbours had a big party this weekend. It was a huge  drinking party with lots of loud music. Now I am not a hater at all, I don’t mind if people have parties and they are a little bit loud. I do mind it though if they keep the music going on maximum volume until the sun starts to rise again. And what I don’t like either is when they get so drunk that they feel the need to argue about stupid, insignificant things and the whole neighbourhood has to listen to how they struggle to slur the words out before they beat each other up.

You can imagine how much sleep I’ve had. At around 3 am I had reached a boiling point and was thinking about what I was going to do about it. Going over and ask wasted guys, who are twice my size, to turn it down a notch didn’t look like a great option so I decided something else. Instead of getting mad I decided to get even…

So in the morning when the whole lot was sleeping off their hang over I got my four-stroke lawn mower out and started mowing my lawn. My lawn takes approximately one hour to do completely. First I did the side that was closest to their house. I took my time and walked real slow.

When I was just finished doing that side the neighbour came out of his house with a very angry look on his face. I flashed him my biggest, brightest smile ever and even gave him a little wave. Pissed off that he saw it was a girl that was making the noise, instead of a guy that he could beat up, he went back in the house.

But I didn’t stop there. I wanted to give them some time to fall back asleep again so I decided to pull some weeds out of the garden for about half an hour. After that I was convinced they would have fallen asleep again. So I grabbed the lawn mower again and finished off the rest of the garden which equals to another half hour of noise.

I hope that they had a miserable morning with a hang-over from hell. I hope that their heads were hurting like mad with all that noise and that they got disrupted in their sleep. And… hopefully they now know how it feels to have inconsiderate neighbours.
