Three years ago we got paid TV so DH had something to keep himself occupied while I was working. After his accident he was not able to do much and normal daytime TV really sucked, so he wanted to get paid TV. I agreed with him; daytime TV on the free channels suck indeed. So we got the FOXTEL satelite hooked up and took the Platinum package which included all the channels + 2 Box Office movies.

But lately the Foxtel channels are really doing my head in. It is just repeat after repeat after repeat. You would think that if you pay for TV that every now and then they could afford to purchase some new shows. I think I have seen every season of Friends at least 10 times now, same case with Will & Grace. Now it seems that the channels are simply exchanging TV programs. First Alias was on Fox 8 now it gets repeated on Arena. Same goes for a lot of other programs. Other programs that they just finished have started again from the beginning like The Contender season 3, Ice Road Truckers, Gossip Girl and the list goes on and on.

Daytime and night time TV really starts to suck big time like this. I feel sorry for DH. He’s feeling really crap at the moment and TV keeps his mind of his dark, depressive thoughts. But now that it’s just one repeat after another it’s just not worth it to keep watching.
