A little update on my last post: Jason tried to talk my pregnant sister-in-law and her family into moving in with him while they could sort their shit out. But… she refuses any help from anyone. So at the moment she is living in a car somewhere along the road. She’s on the move because she doesn’t want her mum or anyone else to find out where she is.
Anyway, not wanting to get any help from us kind of pissed us off. She’s pregnant and the kids haven’t been to school for months. I already talked to DH that if she refused the help I would ring child services, but when Jason told us the news about her refusal he said that my mother-in-law already had done that. I just hope that they can do something soon, because this situation is ridiculous. She is messing with the future of her kids and that is a horrible thing. The sooner she starts to realize that the better.
My sister-in-law reckons she has a grand plan behind this all. She says they are only waiting to be approved for a rental house which is very unlikely because she can’t produce any pay slips or some sort of income. In the meantime she keeps the kids out of school and I don’t even want to think about what she is feeding him. The fact that the oldest kid lost his kidney because of her neglect is still fresh in my mind.

My blood pressure went up just now reading your post. This absolutely makes me sick!!! What a shitty selfish thing to do to those children and the unborn innocent she is carrying. She deserves to have all those babies taken away from her and now not later. I went to JAIL!!! to keep my neglected grandchildren away from an abusive situation. No one deserves what is happening to those children,

See, now I’m even more ticked off after reading this entry. I hope that she realizes that the one child who has only 1 kidney could potentially lose the other one as well and need dialysis and a transplant depending on what he lost the first one for to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, he could live a normal life with the 1 but if she had a hand in him losing it to begin with, who knows. Just make sure you take him to any doctor if you can get a hold of him if he gets injured in the area of where his only kidney is and if he has problems urinating. We tell all the kids we see that have 1 kidney, I work in a pediatric subspeciality just for kidneys, we tell them no contact sports, get to a doctor if they get injured in that 1 kidney and to see a doctor when they have problems urinating.
